Chiranjeevi On Choosing Salman Over Aamir: Actor Chiranjeevi arrived as the chief guest at the Telugu trailer launch of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ on Sunday. At the event, Aamir Khan, who has always been keen to share screen space with Chiranjeevi, asked him why he didn’t approach him for a cameo. To this, Chiranjeevi said that he chose Salman over Aamir because the character needed an actor for his physical appearance.
Chiranjeevi released the Telugu trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha, the Indian adaptation of Forrest Gump. Speaking at the event, Aamir Khan thanked Chiranjeevi. He also said that if there is an opportunity, he would like to return the favor by working in one of his projects.

Aamir asked why Chiranjeevi didn’t approach him for a role in his film Godfather and instead went with Salman Khan. Chiranjeevi laughed and said, “This character didn’t need someone with heart and mind, but someone for his physicality, and that’s why we went with Salman.”
Recently, Aamir Khan organized a special screening of Laal Singh Chaddha for Chiranjeevi at his residence in Hyderabad. SS Rajamouli, actor Nagarjuna, his son Naga Chaitanya and Pushpa director Sukumar also attended the screening.
According to a statement, all the guests were excited about Aamir’s favorite project. The statement said that Chiranjeevi was really impressed by the film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles. The film is set to release in theaters on August 12. It is directed by Advait Chandan.
